Luxury Hotel In Sonoma County Wine Country
Duchamp Hotel In Healdsburg
Luxury In The Heart Of the Sonoma County Wine Country
A Living Room, Not a Lobby
The Duchamp lobby embodies the indoor-outdoor lifestyle at the heart of Wine Country living. Two 18-foot collapsible glass doors open the lounge entirely—one side to the arrival courtyard, the other to the pool—allowing air, light, and movement to flow naturally through the space.
The lounge itself is designed as a true living room: thoughtfully furnished, cooled by overhead fans, and free from the artificial scenting typical of commercial hotels. It feels residential, relaxed, and intentionally unbranded.
Private Outdoor Living—In Every Suite
That same indoor-outdoor philosophy continues in every guest suite. Ground-floor accommodations feature expansive private patios, screened by landscaping for privacy—ideal for morning coffee or evening wine. Upper-floor suites offer even larger balconies, creating shaded overhangs below and an elevated sense of retreat.
Each outdoor space is furnished with bistro tables, chairs, and benches designed for lingering and reflection. No other downtown Healdsburg hotel offers private outdoor living spaces directly connected to every guest room.
Four Distinct Experiences, One Property
While interior appointments are consistent within each level—ground-floor suites sharing one design, second-floor suites another—Duchamp offers four distinctly different guest experiences, each shaped by its setting:
Poolside Suites run parallel to the pool, capturing the energy and ease of a California resort—sunlit days, relaxed afternoons, and classic Wine Country leisure.
Creekside Suites face native grasses, flowers, and riparian landscape, evoking the calm of a forested glen and offering exceptional quiet and restoration.
Grove Suites, tucked beside a pistache-lined garden accompanied by the sound of fountains, provide the most private and contemplative experience on the property.
Above the lobby, The Chef’s Suite and The Overlook function as refined residential-style accommodations with oversized windows, abundant sunlight, and living rooms. When combined, they form a rare two-bedroom, apartment-style retreat in the heart of downtown Healdsburg.
To our knowledge, no other hotel offers this degree of experiential variety, privacy, and consistency within a single intimate property.
The Grove: A Garden in the Heart of Town
The Grove also serves as a garden event space, accommodating up to 200 guests for receptions or 150 for seated ceremonies. While Montage Healdsburg—located well outside of town—offers outdoor venues, Duchamp is the only downtown Healdsburg hotel to provide a dedicated garden setting of this scale and refinement.
Local by Nature, Personal by Choice
Duchamp is locally owned and operated, shaped by decades of living in and loving this community. We share the same pace, values, and relationships as Healdsburg residents. Our philosophy is simple: relationships first, revenue second.
Because we are small, guests and staff are encouraged to engage naturally. We tailor each stay to individual preferences and measure success not by volume, but by trust earned and experiences remembered. Our pride—and our profitability—grow directly from guest satisfaction.
Many downtown hotels are part of national brands or managed by out-of-state groups. Duchamp is not. We are present, invested, and deeply connected.
There is nothing grand about Duchamp—and that is intentional. It is a luxury property that is self-effacing, personal, and quietly confident, designed around the guest rather than the brand.
Having lived here for decades, we maintain personal relationships with local chefs, winemakers, shop owners, and civic leaders. We leverage those connections to give guests genuine access—so they don’t just visit Healdsburg, but truly live like a local.
Duchamp Healdsburg is not designed to compete with traditional hotels—it is designed to quietly transcend them.
